Yamaha Royal Star Venture

The Venture maintains the classic look of the Royal Star, and its engine now produces 98 horsepower.  The new engine delivers a classic motorcycle feel and now features a counter balancer and is solid mounted in an all-new frame, which allows for larger 32-millimeter carburetors and a fuel tank that holds a full six gallons. This gives the Venture a touring range of more than 225 miles.  Also the internal gear ratios have been changed to better match the engine character.
The Venture features large comfortable seats for rider and passenger, spacious trunk and saddlebags with smaller miscellaneous storage compartments, AM/FM stereo, tape deck, CB with intercom system and easy to use cruise control.  Exceptional weather protection is provided by the wide windshield, upper and lower cowling and wind deflectors.

Here she is as of July 2001. As you can see from this side shot I removed the "Venture" badge from the tank. I removed it to give the tank a smoother look and it also is easier to keep her clean. I purchased the 2000 model saddlebag emblems to replace the dull looking plain silver ones used in 99, and that also let people know that this is a Yamaha Venture, not a Harley Ultra Classic.
Added a 24 LED third brake light under the trunk

Before adding the light. - Showing the New Stainless Steel Bracket.
To add even more class to our Venture My father in law Larry Jirik
made the brackets out of old polished stainless steel trim from his 1957 Chevy
