Vonda H. Klingsporn was born in Chase County, Kansas on April 27, 1922, the first child of Leo Isador R. and Esther (Bullard) LaLoge. She entered eternal rest on December 30, 2011, in Monett, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband Enos F. Klingsporn, brothers Delbert LaLoge and John Maxwell, and a sister Ruby Laloge Childress.
Mrs. Klingsporn came to Monett as a teenager and remained. She was a longtime employee and manager of Norris Grain Company on Front Street. Her favorite hobbies were reading, walking and gardening.
Vonda is survived by her daughter: Doris (Ron) Reynaud, Springfield, MO.; her son Dave Klingsporn, Monett; grandchildren: Mike (Cathy) Klingsporn of Oxnard, Ca.; Dr. Jennifer (Rob) Gunn, Springfield, Mo.; Darin Klingsporn; Courtney (Thomas) Stubblefield, Monett; Jesse and Josiah Klingsporn, Monett; great grandchildren Cory Klingsporn, Oxnard, Ca.; Geoffrey Layton and Gabrielle Gunn both of Springfield, Mo.; sisters: Betty Ramsey, Tracy, Ca.; Kay Kirby, Redwood City, Ca.; Shirley (Lawrence) Jirik, Olive Branch, Miss.; Carolyn "Sue" (Donald) Calvin, Springfield, MO; Mary (Tom) Blay, Villa Ridge,Mo.; brother Robert (Agnes) LaLoge, Huntsville, Ala.; and a cherished friend Mrs. Mamie Lane, Monett.
Graveside services were conducted at the St. John's McCormick Cemetery.
[67] John married Mary LATTA on 31 Oct 1797 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Mary was born about 1766 in Chester County, Pennsylvania, died on 7 Mar 1855 in Mifflin Township, Franklin County, Ohio about age 89, and was buried in Mifflin Township Cemetery, Gahanna, Franklin County, Ohio. They had three children: John, Mary, and James.
