Was at the invasion of Normandy on D Day. Wounded by a Granade that exploded near him.
Was injured on the job while working as a heavy equipment operator on the Grand Coulee Dam in Washington State.
Was treated at the V.A. Medical Center in California for about 2 years, for his injuries, before death from complications of Lung Cancer
Returned to Barry County, Missouri for Funeral and Burial
Was a very loving and devoted Father and Husband
