Barbara Kristek, 75, Aurora, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, in the Aurora Nursing Center, Aurora. She was born May 23, 1936, in Mena, Ark., to John and Ruth Crawford Boren. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Jenkins, Verona, and Becky Lay, Denver, Colo.; one brother, Frank Boren; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; one brother, Sonny Boren; two sisters, Pat Bettle and Sue Ann Brewster; and one granddaughter.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Dec. 20, in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Aurora, under the direction of Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora.
