COMSTOCK Agnes R. Comstock, age 81 of Sunbury, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 20, 1928, to the late William and Glennie (Winegardner) Temple. She retired from Nestle's and was a longtime member of Condit Presbyterian Church. Her personal qualities will be remembered by those endeared to her. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Connie J. (Bob) Elliott, of Gambier, Carolyn S. (Dan) Roshon, of Ostrander; son, Robert Comstock (Liz Dove), of Centerburg; seven grandchildren, Charlie Comstock, Kirby Warner, Landry (Bridgett)Warner, Wayne Harstine (Brittney Ramsey), Chris (Julie) Roshon, Kate Roshon (Fiance Keith Salyers), Casey Roshon (Fiance Megan Cox); eight great-grandchildren, Camron, Olivia, Hunter, Addison, Kaydence, Landen, Owen, Kaedon; sisters, Esther Carter and Shirley Peterman. Also preceded in death by husband Ralph, great-grandson Quinton Warner, 7 brothers, and 4 sisters. Mary Elda Temple-Godbout (5th dgtr., 9th ch of Lewis & Priscilla McNulty-Temple). She died Saturday, December 27, 1947, at her home in Summerfield, KS, age 80 years, 4 months, 23 days. She moved with her parents to Axtell, KS in 1883. On June 14, 1888, she was married to Peter Godbout in Axtell. To them were born born six children, the first born passing away in infancy.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her children, One daughter Ethel Detweiler, Emmett, Idaho; four sons, Roy, Blue Rapids; Lloyd, Wilder, Idaho; Earl, Wichita; Donald, Seneca; three brothers, John Temple, Wichita; Wade Temple, Axtell; James Temple, Concordia; three brothers and four sisters and one daughter having preceded her in death. She was a member of Summerfield Methodist church.
