STARRETT Walter J. Starrett, age 77, died Sunday evening, February 27, 2011. He was born January 13, 1934 in Columbus and was a lifelong resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Hagglunds-Denison. Walter was a member of the former Northwoods Community Church which he truly enjoyed. He was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan and past OSU "Red Coat". Preceded in death by his parents Leo and Lucy Starrett and brothers and sisters. Walter will be missed by his sons, Michael (Diane), Mark (Sheila); daughter, Adonica Starrett Nelson; sisters, Monica Shiflett and Barbara Jean Temple; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Walter brought much joy and love to the hearts of those who knew him and will be truly missed. Family will receive friends Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 12Noon until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may bemade to the Alzheimer's Association , 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, OH 43221 or Tridia Hospice, 2215 Citygate Dr., Columbus, OH 43219. Abraham Temple (2th son, 4th ch of Thomas & Jane Britten- Temple) Abraham was born in 1820. He mairried Maria Boyer, December 27, 1840, Franklin County, Ohio. Abraham was named in the Ohio Temple Family reunion records, 1909.
Abraham, age 30, 1850, was a brick maker in Montgomery Township, Franklin, Ohio. In July 1860, he was a farmer in Nokomis Montgomery, IL. In July 1870, age 50, he was still a farmer in Nokomis Montgomery, IL. Abraham, June 1880, age 60, final notation he was still farming Nokomis Montgomery, IL. Abraham Temple died in 1886, age 69. Burial unknown at this time.
