Leonard Charles Rehak, 86, of Sedalia, died Friday, March 26, 2004, at the Four Seasons Living Center.
He was born June 11, 1917, in Sedalia, a son of Ambrose and Margaret Jerik Rehak. On Oct. 1, 1946, in Sedalia, he was married to Mildred Brosch, who survives of the home.
Mr. Rehak was a 1935 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. He was an Army veteran of the 99th Infantry Division, serving in World War II. He retired from the United States Postal Service after 25 years as a letter carrier. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Letter Carriers Branch 106, Elks Lodge #125 in Sedalia, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #2591, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
Survivors also include two nephews and one niece, Loretta Kendrick of Sedalia. He was predeceased by one brother, Albert Rehak, and one sister, Louise Grinstead.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday at Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. Tom Albers officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with full military honors conducted byVFW Post #2591.
Pallbearers will be Harold Woodall, Dave Johnson, Fred Mark, Larry Grinstead, Jon Grinstead and Everett Koechner.

THE MARION STAR: THURSDAY APRIL 16, 1964 Mrs. Alma Sims Welsh, 87, or 770 Creston Ave. died at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday in General Hospital. She was a native of Decliff. Born Nov. 7, 1876,she was a daughter of Jeremiah and Jennifer Postel Sims. Surviving are 3 sons, Wilson Orr of Thompson St., Lovell of Lee St. and Dale of Madison Ave.; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Hayworth of Sacramento, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Virgil Sims of Elwood, Ind., and Charles of Waldo, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Inez Gorenflo of Walkersville, Mich., and Mrs. Alice Hart of Marion. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in the M.H.Gunder Sons Funeral Home. Rev. W.A.Hough will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after Friday noon.
She was married to Elijah Dale ORR (son of Londias ORR and Irene RIZOR ) on Jun 12 1894 in Marion, Marion Co., Ohio. She was divorced from Elijah Dale ORR. Elijah Dale ORR was born on Dec 16 1871 in LaRue, Marion Co., Ohio. He died in 1949 in Marion, Marion Co., Ohio. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Bowling Green Twp., Marion Co., Ohio. Alma SIMS and Elijah Dale ORR had the following children:
