STARRETT Walter J. Starrett, age 77, died Sunday evening, February 27, 2011. He was born January 13, 1934 in Columbus and was a lifelong resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Hagglunds-Denison. Walter was a member of the former Northwoods Community Church which he truly enjoyed. He was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan and past OSU "Red Coat". Preceded in death by his parents Leo and Lucy Starrett and brothers and sisters. Walter will be missed by his sons, Michael (Diane), Mark (Sheila); daughter, Adonica Starrett Nelson; sisters, Monica Shiflett and Barbara Jean Temple; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Walter brought much joy and love to the hearts of those who knew him and will be truly missed. Family will receive friends Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 12Noon until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH.
