POTTSBORO — Memorial service for Patricia Ann
Horn, age 65, of Pottsboro, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 24 at the Shannon Church of Christ at 4981 Dripping Springs Road in Sherman, Texas.S h e p a s s e d aw ay o n Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at her home, 30 Mac Lane, Pottsboro, Texas following a lengthy illness. She had lived in Pottsboro for the last two years.Pat was born June 20, 1945 in Coldwater, Mississippi, the daughter of Annie and Butch Pounders.She married Lee Horn on February 14, 1974 in Coldwater, Mississippi and they had been happily married for 36 years.After graduating from Coldwater High School , Pat worked for American Electric and Sharp Manufacturing for 20 years. She j o i n e d h e r h u s b a n d i n
their trucking company as a team driver, traveling with their puppies, Misty, 16 years and Misty, 6 years. She continued driving until her illness caused her to be legally blind.
She is survived by husband, Lee, of the home and six nieces in Tennessee and Mississippi.S h e wa s p r e c e d e d i n death by her parents, and five brothers

“My great grandfather’s name is Josiah Riffel,” he said.” He had a farm in Gravois Mills, and in fact, Gravios Mills used to be called Riffel Town. I did a lot of research on Josiah and his family. Their farm was actually in Mill Creek Cove and was flooded when the Lake filled.”
