After the death of Ervin Maxwell, Betty remarried Lawrence"Larry" A. Hawley in Las Vegas Nevada abt 1956. After Larry's death she remarried John Shmidt in Varona, Lawrence Co. Missouri. She proceeded John in death, which is why her name on her Grave Marker reads Shmidt, although she lies next to Ervin in the family plot in Cassville, Missouri.
